Version 1.7

WordNet 1.7 is now available for Unix platforms running Solaris, Linux, and Irix. The package contains source code, the database, and documentation. A PC port will follow, but the release date is not yet known.

A binary package for the Macintosh will not be available for version 1.7. The Semantic Concordance will not be released for WordNet 1.7.

At some time in the future, a mapping of 1.6 to 1.7 word senses will be releaed.

Downloading 1.7

The 1.7 release package has just been built, and a proper web page and online interface will follow shortly, as well as the PC port and the database mapping.

For general WordNet downloading information, you should briefly check out the 1.6 download site. After that, you can download WordNet 1.7 and take it for a test drive. Please report problems to wordnet@princeton.edu.
